Co-Director 

Estelle Green (she/her)

Estelle grew up in France and moved to the United States as a teenager. She completed her undergraduate studies in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of California Irvine and is currently a fourth-year medical student at the Penn State College of Medicine - University Park Regional Campus. Her professional interests include adolescent medicine, medical education, and advocacy. During her free time, you can find Estelle crocheting, catching up on the latest TV shows, or spending time with loved ones.

Co-Director 

Kathrine Gaiko (she/her)

Kathrine is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, and currently attends Virginia College of Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She is interested in pediatric hospital medicine and is exploring pediatric residency and Med/Peds programs. She wants to love on all the kiddos while being the most knowledgeable provider and is open to various paths that will lead to her that goal. Kathrine worked as a nanny prior to medical school and fell in love with early childhood development. She is also interested in healthcare for those with special needs and wants to explore ways to close healthcare gaps in early childhood. Kathrine loves to travel and has a passion for exploring various cultures. She was a Resident Assistant in England, worked on Biochemistry research with NSF in South Korea, and participated in healthcare mission work in Kenya before medical school. In her free time, Kathrine loves to knit (@medstudentknits), hike, go to brunch, and drink all the espresso.

Kiana Heredia (she/her)

Kiana is a 4th-year medical student. She is a very proud Afro-Dominican woman and an aspiring physician. She feels inspired daily by the fantastic cohort of emerging leaders in pediatrics.

Assistant Director of IMG Equity

Andrea Quintero Reis (she/her)

She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to the U.S. at a young age. Despite that, she has maintained her fluency in Spanish and a strong bond with my heritage. She holds bachelor's degrees in Forensic Science and Human Health Science, and she is currently pursuing an MBA. Her career path shifted from being a laboratory technician to medicine, specifically pediatrics. She studied on the beautiful island of Antigua, where she discovered a stray dog she named Wadadli, after the island's native people and has become an integral part of my life and made the journey back with me to the U.S. Apart from her passion for medicine, she is a foodie who loves traveling, working out, attending concerts, and following sports. She is excited to embark on this journey of the pediatric match with all of you!

Aminat Bello (she/her)

Aminat is a 4th-year medical student at St. George's University School of Medicine. She is passionate about early childhood and adolescent development and promoting mental health and self-care in minority youth.

    Alyson Hill (she/her)

    Alyson is a fourth-year medical student at Oklahoma State University and wants to be a pediatrician when she grows up! She is excited to use her role at the Future Peds Resident team to combine her passion for childcare, medicine, and higher education. She hopes to share her experience of applying to pediatric residencies as an osteopathic medical student with future applicants.

    Assistant Director of LGBTQ+ Equity

    Eduarda Casali (she/her)

    Eduarda is an Italian-Brazilian IMG from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul School of Medicine, Brazil. She was born and raised in Porto Alegre, in the South of Brazil and currently divides her time between her hometown and Philadelphia, PA, where her family lives. She is passionate about Neonatology, Health Equity, Pediatric LGBTQ+ health and Developmental Medicine, especially Speech and Language Development. Since her graduation she worked as a Primary Care physician and participated in multiple projects to improve healthcare access in underserved communities in her home country while preparing for the USMLE exams. Outside of medicine, she loves History, and studying foreign languages. During her free time she enjoys cooking, watching documentaries and spending time with her friends and family, which includes her wife and their beloved cats (she is a confessed cat lover).

    Associate Director

    Charmi Dholakia (she/her)

    Charmi is excited to take on the role of a Residents Liaison Director for Peds Match 2024. She is an incoming PGY-1 Pediatrics Resident at the University of Toledo, Ohio. She was born in India and grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In terms of education, after finishing three years of undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Calgary, she pursued medical school at the RCSI in Dublin, Ireland. Post-graduation, she undertook an internship in Ireland and then returned to North America, as she had always wanted to practice and settle here. Having been through the residency match process myself, she is familiar with the rigorous and uncertain nature of it. Now, as she stands on the other side of the road, she feels the need to give back to this community and help make the process slightly easier for future applicants. She looks forward to working with the amazing FuturePedsRes team this year to create a powerful space for the applicants where they feel well-informed and well-supported to put their best foot forward for Match 2024!

    Kirtana George is a 3rd year Medical Student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.

      Assistant Director of Design

      Kipp Hopper(he/him)

      Kipp Hopper is a 4th year medical student at Quinnipiac University who is excited to serve as Assistant Director of Graphic Design for #PedsMatch24! He brings to this role the experience of editing and designing a student newspaper, as well as having a general eye for detail in poster and infographic design. Kipp is passionate about public health, advocacy, and obesity medicine. Fun fact: he can play the harp!

      Assistant Director of Web Design

      Kushal Kriplani (he/him)

      Kushalis currently in his final year of training (MS5) at VMMC & SJH in New Delhi, India. Originally from a small town in Rajasthan, India, he is passionate about pursuing a Pediatric residency in the United States and will be applying for Match 2025 (2024-25 session). During his final year rotations in Pediatrics, he developed a strong interest in improving outcomes for our upcoming generation, which motivated him to choose this career path. He has a particular interest in Neonatology and Pediatric Critical Care.

      Samantha Gerstman (she/her)

      Samantha Gerstman is excited to join FuturePedsResident as Assistant Director of Graphic Design! She is currently a third-year medical student at St.Georges University. She can't wait to connect with other students, residents, and doctors to help guide fellow applicants through the residency application process. She looks forward to attending all of the amazing events FuturePedsResident has in store for this year!

        Associate Director of Webinars

        Deanice Cruz (she/her)

        Deanice Cruz is a Tampa, Florida native and OMS-IV from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Florida (Go Gators!!) and a master's degree in biomedical sciences from Barry University. Deanice is currently considering med-peds and pediatrics for Match 2024, and she is passionate about healthcare equity, mentorship, and continuity of care. In addition to her professional interests, she has a love for travel, pugs, and fitness. With her extensive experience in webinars and administrative teams, Deanice is excited to join the FuturePedsRes team as an Associate Director of Webinars. She is dedicated to connecting applicants with their future residency programs, and she looks forward to making a positive impact in this role.

        Alesha Griffiths (she/her)

        Alesha Griffiths is a 4th-year medical student at Trinity School of Medicine. She is originally from Queens, New York. She is interested in specializing in Pediatrics. Outside of medicine, her hobbies include singing, cooking, and traveling.

          Nicole Cox (she/her)

          Nicole is a 3rd-year Medical Student at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and strives to be an excellent pediatrician. She is originally from New Jersey and graduated from Drexel University in 2021. Nicole enjoys being outdoors and hiking but also loves a movie day with candy. Her career goals encompass treating her patients with compassion and kindness while serving communities in need.

            Assistant Director of Webinars

            Kassandra Pinedo (she/her)

            Kassandra received her MD degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico. She works in an Infectious Disease lab at Stanford University, where she collaborates with others to discover the viral immunity of COVID-19 and other viruses. Community engagement is one of her significant interests, where she participates in outreach programs to support those in need. Additionally, she uses her social media platform to guide and assist other IMGs, helping each other navigate their way to residency.  Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys traveling, road cycling, cooking, and spending time with family and furry friend Blue.

            Divya Kewalramani (she/her)

            Divya Kewalramani is a recent graduate from a Caribbean medical school, and is thrilled to embark in my journey as a pediatric scientist. With a deep passion for pediatric science, she is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children through her work as a pediatric scientist. Her dedication to advancing knowledge and finding innovative solutions for childhood diseases drives her to constantly push boundaries in the field. Beyond her professional endeavors, she finds joy in the written word, immersing herself in books that expand her horizons and stimulate her intellect. In her free time, she also explores her creative side through cooking, where she finds solace and the opportunity to experiment with flavors and techniques. With a unique blend of knowledge, compassion, and unwavering determination, she is eager to make a meaningful difference in the realm of pediatric science and to contribute to the well-being of young patients

              Sheena Bedi (she/her)

              Sheena Bedi is a medical student from India. She is a passionate advocate for holistic child healthcare and global health equity. She also has extensive experience teaching kids from marginalized backgrounds. She will be applying for Pediatrics Residency in the 2025 Match Cycle and will await the opportunity to connect with fellow doctors who share the same passion as her. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and cooking.

              Assistant Director of Webinars

              Denisse Victoria Moncada Figueroa (she/her)

              Denisse Victoria Moncada Figueroa is a medical graduate from Guayaquil, Ecuador, having completed her studies at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil. She has gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in the Neonatology Department. Currently, she holds the position of Research Staff Associate in the Neonatology Division at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her research projects revolve around premature growth and nutrition outcomes in patients in the NICU. Denisse is passionate about pediatrics and neonatology and is actively pursuing a career in pediatric medicine. Outside of her medical endeavors, she enjoys playing baseball and softball and has represented Ecuador as part of the national women's softball team. Denisse is eager to connect with future pediatricians and continue her journey in the field of pediatrics.
