The organization serves more than one million patients across 250,000 square miles. Our children's hospital in Sioux Falls offers a level II pediatric trauma center, level IV NICU, and ECMO.

We offer 80+ parks to explore, 30 miles of bike trails, 100+ restaurants, and 6 concert venues, and 4 semi-pro sports teams.
CURRICULUM
Curriculum includes 13 blocks per year as well as a longitudinal continuity clinic.
Didactic opportunities include morning reports, noon conferences, Grand Rounds, M&Ms, Schwartz Rounds, minimum of monthly mock codes in our state-of-the-art simulation center, multispecialty fetal care conferences, others.
Special events include procedural boot camps, resident retreat, careers and conversations event.
DIVERSITY INITIATIVES

New USD Sanford School of Medicine honor society, Aequitas Health Honor Society, focuses on reducing health disparities in the local/regional communities.
